This is my first swimming party (and hopefully not the last) of the summer of year 2010. Nothing special; all the planning was hush-hush. Before we went to the pool, someone suggested that we buy a roasted pig (everybody's favorite). So off we went (there were two of us) to Elars and Elarz to buy a whole lechon, but luck ran out on us. It was very early and there was no available whole lechon for sale on that day. Next in mind was Ping-Ping, and the next thing we knew, the lechon was being loaded in the back of mah car.
We then proceeded to go to the suki market to buy some "healthy seafoods". In the list of must-buy "healthy seafoods" was: talaba (clam shell), alimasag, alimango, tuna belly, sugpo (for sinigang), and the never say die tilapia. I almost fainted just by looking at those "hell-ty seafoods".
After bringing the car at neck-breaking speeds, we reached our destination, after which we unloaded our foods and drinks (the drinks were smuggled inside the resort, in cahoots with the resort security). All "healthy seafoods" were grilled Pinoy style (yung medyo sunog) and then the sugpo was made into sinigang. After cooking the foodz, and taking pictures of all of it (along with the drinks [para may panyabang sa Facebook]), it was now the time to attttackkkkk!!!!
Sorry guys, i have to post this blog now, dahil baka maubusan na ako ng mga choicest part ng lechon and the aligi of alimango.
